Lena Jeanne is a film photographer from North Wales. Her work explores archetypal themes of nature, masculine and feminine, spirit and material. Lena tries to capture these subject matters through intimate portraiture and documentary style photography. She loves analogue and only shoots film — a process she finds more organic and more sensual. Lena is inspired by artists that capture these same themes - painters such as Titian and Blake and film directors such as Bresson and Malick. Lena strives to get more intensity and integrity in her images.
